People Who Help Each Other, Stand Together!

          Philippines is a disaster risk country for its location that is in between numbers of volcanoes - pacific ring of fire, it is also located at the West Basin and Philippines is also near Pacific Ocean. Because of these, Philippines has been visited by many disasters. But the Filipinos have managed to faced and survived by these tragedies.

          We know that Filipinos are brave, strong and intelligent. They know what to do before, during, and after when they are experiencing one of those disasters. They are always preparing when they know that a disaster will attack, and it’s not just that they are well prepared, they also help each other. Some are sacrificing their lives just for the sake of others. The things needed are always prepared. Filipinos know how to save money and foods in order for them to have something to use and eat for emergencies. And it’s not just the citizens who are moving, the different disaster management professionals are also doing their jobs. The DOH, DRRMC, etc. Are the ones who are managing the foods and areas where the Filipinos will go. The government are doing their jobs to help others.

          The Philippines is a strong country. Because of the traits of the people who are living in this country. They are helping each other, they are always prepared in every disasters that will come to them. They act as one, but the Philippines are not always strong, sometimes the people and many structures are damaged. Many disasters will come and they will become stronger.  I know that all of us are learning in every problem we faced and we’ll be facing. So just like the Philippines, they will innovate and become stronger. And I know that we Filipinos, will always survive to every challenges that will come for us.

Reflection

          The 21st century is known for "the age of inventions." Internet and gadgets are scattered around the world. That even 3 years old kids these days are addicted to this gadgets. ICT, one of the subjects most student likes. This subject contains varies of lessons that has connection to the internet and computers.

          In the first quarter, we discussed many lessons. Each group was assigned and must have 2 representatives to report and share what they know about the assigned topic of their group. There, I learned many things like the history of internet, it's first use, the inventors, the architects, blogs, types of blogs, their uses, and many more. Each lessons helped me and I learned many things from those. My knowledge about internet and blogs were widen.

          I'm sure all of us have encountered problems and challenges. And I also know that ICT is hard because it has many names, years, and descriptions we need to remember and put in our mind. I encountered problem in managing my time. There are lots of requirements and it's hard for me to focus because of the lack of my time. As a result, some of the requirements I passed was not on time. I also encountered my lack of self - confidence. I always give up so easily. So, in every essay or requirements I made, I feel that I'm always wrong. I always think that my works are below justification. I have more problems but I think, these 2 are enough.

          Of course, in every problem, there's always a solution. I trained myself. Time passed, and I became used to those problems. I learned how to manage my time well. I learned how to divide them equally. And, I also encouraged myself. I asked help to my family, friends and specially God. I opened my ears and listen every single word they have said. I trusted them, and because of that, I started trusting myself.

          This 1st quarter was challenging for me. But I learned many things. I will use those challenges as my motivation for the upcoming quarters and years of learning. Thanks to my friends, family and God, I was motivated. They were my inspiration to try harder. I'm sure, my learning this time will surely guide me for my future. Now, I feel excited for the upcoming 3 more quarters of this school year.

Ang Kaluluwa ng Isang Bansa

          Ang wika ay sadyang napakahalaga. Ito ang nagbubuklod sa bawat tao hindi lamang dito sa Pilipinas kundi maging sa mga ibang bansa rin. Ito ang nagsisilbing tulay para magkaunawaan at magkaintindihan ang bawat isa. Ang wika ay ginagamit natin sa pakikipagtalastasan. Sa pamamagitan nito ay napapahayag natin ang ating saloobin at kaisipan. Sa pamamagitan din nito, nalalaman natin kung ano ang gustong ipahiwatig ng ating kapwa. Batay sa aking nasaliksik, ang wika ay kaluluwa ng isang bansa at salamin ng lipunan.

          Ang buwan ng Agosto ay ang buwan ng wika. Mga skwelahan, pamayanan at pati narin mga magkakapamilya ay ipinagdidiriwang ang nasabing kaganapan. Maraming mga paligsahan ang nagaganap. Tulad ng sabayang pagbigkas, poster slogan at iba pa. Sa pamamagitan nito, naipapakita natin ang kahalagahan ng paggamit ng wasto sa wika.           Ang wikang Filipino ay dapat nating pahalagahan.Dapat nating gamitin ito ng wasto, dahil kapag pinabayaan natin ito, magiging mababa ang tingin satin ng mga ibang tao. At kailangan nating tandaan na ang wikang Filipino ang rason kung bakit tayo tinatawag na Pilipino.
